MINISTRIES

Care Team

Arcadia UMC has a unique team whose sole purpose is to care for the needs of others. This team is made up of volunteers in the church. Placed on a rotation, this team ensures that those who are unable to come to church are still included in the life of the church. If you are interested in learning more or joining this team, please send us a request!

Music Ministry

The Arcadia Choir has a history of superb singing and bringing people closer to God. The choir consists of volunteers and a few professionals. Rehearsals (when in session) are immediately before the service at 9:30am. We also invite instrumentalists, small ensembles, soloists and other area church choirs to visit and provide music to stir the soul. We are always looking for new musicians. United Women in Faith

The United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) is a long standing tradition within the church. This group of servants meet monthly on the second Tuesday to study scripture, share prayer concerns, and serve others. The UWF continuously gives money, time, and prayer to a variety of needs within our community. Call the church office for information on our next meeting!

Cinnamon Sisters

Yum! Each month (Sept.-May) on the third Wednesday, this group of women (and some men) gathers to make homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch! Sold for $7 a dozen, these rolls produce enough profits to support a variety of ministries in our community. From Paducah Cooperative Ministries to camp funds for underprivileged children, the Cinnamon Sisters continue to impact the world one roll at a time!! Order yours today!

Arcadia UMC is proud to have a new ministry that began in September of 2025. "Guiding Our Own Youth Ahead" is an outreach program to the youth at Paducah Middle School. Every Wednesday from after Labor Day until the last day of school, we provide drinks, snacks, Christian literature, opportunities for volunteering and fun camaraderie and conversation to students at the middle school who wish to be involved. GOOYA set-up and fun is from 2:15pm until 3:00pm
